Overview

This article explains how to create a product with a payment plan, then add that product to an Order Form step in a funnel so customers can pay in a set number of installments.

What you will need

• A connected payment gateway: Stripe, PayPal, NMI, or Authorize.net
• A funnel with an Order Form step
• (Optional) A membership offer, if the product should grant membership access

Notes

• Custom authorization only works with recurring products.
• Payment plans can only be used in Order Form products.
• If you add a trial period, it counts as one of the payments. </aside>

Available Integrations

1. Under Settings → Integrations, you can connect supported payment gateways (for example, Stripe or PayPal).

Step 1: Create a product with a payment plan

• Go to Payments → Products → + Create Product

  

• Fill out the basics: product title, description, and image

• (Optional) Turn on Product Label (for example, “Sale”) and set its visibility duration

• (Optional) Select a Product Collection, then set tax details

• (Optional) Open Additional Options to set up the statement descriptor
