Overview

To successfully post to an Instagram Business Profile, including direct publishing, the Instagram professional profile must be connected to a Facebook Page.

Before you start

• Confirm the Instagram profile is a Business or Creator profile.
• Confirm you have an Admin or Editor role for the Facebook Page if it is a Classic Page type.
• If the Page uses the New Page experience, confirm you have Facebook access with full or partial control.

How to connect Instagram to Facebook

Step 1: Go to Facebook

• In a new browser tab, sign in to Facebook.

• On the home page, click the Accounts icon in the top-right.

  

• Select the Facebook Page you want to connect to Instagram.

• In the left menu, open Settings.

  

Step 2: Connect Instagram

• In Settings & Privacy, select Instagram.

• Select Linked Accounts.

• Select Connect Instagram and follow the prompts.
