How to set up a subdomain or custom domain

Defining subdomains

A subdomain is a subset of a larger domain that lets a specific section of a website have its own address.

• Example: members.yourwebsite.com
  • members is the subdomain
  • yourwebsite.com is the root domain

Add a subdomain or custom domain in STRINGConnect

1. Navigate to Membership in the left navigation.

2. Open the Courses dropdown.

3. Select Settings.

4. Select Domain Setup.

   

At this point, you have two options:

Option 1: Use a pre-configured subdomain

You can use a pre-configured subdomain under clientclub.net, which is already set up and ready for immediate use.

• Scroll down and click Update Domain for the changes to take effect.

Option 2: Set up a custom domain
