Overview
In this article, we will walk through how to complete and submit your A2P (Application-to-Person) registration inside STRINGConnect. This registration is required before you can send SMS messages to your contacts and must be completed accurately to avoid delays or rejections. You can also watch a video walkthrough of this process.
Before You Begin
Before starting your registration, make sure you have the following on hand:
- Your legal business name and business type/industry
- Your EIN (Employer Identification Number) or tax ID — you can upload your CP-EIN document to auto-fill several fields
- Your business address, email (at your business domain — not Gmail or Yahoo), and phone number
- The name and contact information of your authorized representative (typically the owner, founder, or CEO)
- A live website with your Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and your business contact information visible

Navigating to the Registration Form
- Log in to your STRINGConnect dashboard.
- In the left navigation, go to Settings.
- Select Phone System.
- Click on Trust Center then Start Registration under A2P Messaging (SMS)

Fill in the following fields:
- Legal Business Name — must match your official business records exactly
