Overview

Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) are a great way to communicate with leads and contacts. With the Instagram Direct Messaging integration, you can connect your Instagram account to STRINGConnect so you can:

• View and reply to Instagram DMs in Conversations.
• Trigger automations based on Instagram DM replies.

1. Under the Integrations tab, you will be able to connect:
   • Facebook
   • Instagram (Direct Messaging)

Step 1: Connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts

To use Instagram Direct Messaging, your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page.

Note: You also need to ensure Instagram messaging access is enabled for connected tools in your Facebook/Instagram settings.

Step 2: Integrate your Facebook and Instagram accounts into STRINGConnect

• Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
• Click Connect under Facebook and Instagram.
• Follow the prompts to log in and approve permissions.
