Overview

Connecting Google and Google Calendar helps sync bookings between STRINGConnect and Google Calendar. This keeps availability accurate, helps prevent double bookings, and supports meeting link generation when Google Meet is enabled.

Available Integrations

1. Under the Integrations tab, you will be able to see and connect the following platforms:
   • Google (Google account)
   • Google Calendar (Calendar Connections)

Setup Guide (Step-by-step)

Prerequisites

• Confirm the access level on the calendar you are connecting.
  • Writer access is required for certain sync features.
  • Read-only access is sufficient for importing events.

Step 1: Connect your Google Account

• Go to Settings > Integrations within STRINGConnect.

  

• Click Sign in with Google under the Google icon.

  

• Follow the prompts to link your Google account with STRINGConnect.

• To disconnect an account, click Connected and confirm deletion.

  

Step 2: Connect your Google Calendar (Calendar Connections)

With Google Descope, you can connect your Google Calendar directly through the Calendar Connections tab.

Note: To generate Google Meet links for each appointment, ensure that a Google Calendar is set as the linked calendar.
