SMS Ramp/Warm Up (Messaging Limits)

Overview

The SMS Messaging Ramp Card helps users understand their current SMS sending level, what is required to unlock the next level, and what future levels allow.

How to use the Messaging Ramp Card

1. Access messaging limits

   • Go to Settings (bottom left) → Phone Numbers → Advanced Settings → Messaging Limit

2. Check your current level

   • If SMS is newly enabled, you will see the Ramp Card with your current level and next-step instructions.

3. Complete the required action

   • Example: Send 250 messages to unlock the next level.
   • When you reach the limit, the account may be blocked from sending additional messages for 24 hours, then the next level unlocks.

4. Track progress

   • The card will show locked levels and the action required to unlock each level.

5. Reaching the top

   • After Level 8, users typically need to contact an agency or support team for additional upgrades.
