Overview

Understanding URL Paths helps you manage and use domains inside STRINGConnect. Before you start, make sure your domain(s) are set up.

How to Access and Edit Domains in STRINGConnect

1. Navigate to Settings > Domains.

2. Review the domains set up in the account.

3. Click the edit icon next to a domain.

4. Review the Default Page the domain resolves to.

   • Example: www.google.com takes you to the Google homepage, while www.google.com/maps takes you to the map page.

5. Select an option for Default Page, then save your changes.

   

   

Updating URL Paths in Funnels

1. Navigate to Funnels.

2. Click into a funnel, then choose Settings.

3. Select the domain for the funnel.

4. Create a path to differentiate multiple funnels that use the same domain.

   • Example domain: www.thedemoaccount.com

   • Example funnel path: www.thedemoaccount.com/demofunneltwosteporderform

   • Note: Visiting the full URL routes visitors to the first step of that funnel.

     

5. Under Funnel Steps > Publishing, edit the path for a specific funnel step.

   

6. Create a separate URL step path for each step in a funnel.

   • Example: /step1, /step2, etc.

7. Under Steps > Overview, click the edit icon.
